What is IPTV and how does it work in Ireland?
IPTV sends television over your home broadband instead of an aerial, dish or cable. You install a player app on a device you already own, sign in with the details we send, and the channel list loads. In Ireland any connection from about 15 Mbps upward handles HD comfortably, and 25 Mbps upward handles 4K.
Your own TV, no new box
Fire TV sticks, Android boxes, LG and Samsung smart TVs, phones and tablets all work. Nothing is posted to you and nothing plugs into your router.
Built to hold under load
The network runs at 10 Gbps with anti-freeze buffering, which is what keeps a picture steady during the evening peak when Irish broadband is busiest.
A real EPG and catch-up
The guide fills in seven days ahead so you can see what is on tonight, and catch-up pulls back programmes you missed earlier in the week.
How much does IPTV cost in Ireland?
Plans start at €15 for one month on a single device and fall to €70 for a full year. Every plan carries the same channel list and the same features. Only the length of the term and the number of screens change, and there is no auto-renewal on any of them.
| Plan | Term | 1 device | 2 devices | Works out at |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Base | 1 month | €15 | €25 | €15 / month |
| Standard | 3 months | €29 | €45 | €9.67 / month |
| Premium | 6 months | €44 | €75 | €7.33 / month |
| Performance | 12 months | €70 | €125 | €5.83 / month |

How do I start a free trial?
Send us a WhatsApp message saying which device you use. We reply with the app name and your login details, usually within a few minutes during Irish evening hours. The trial runs 24 hours on one device and carries the full channel list, so you can test the streams you actually watch at the time of day you watch them.
-
Tell us your device
One message is enough: the TV or box you want to watch on, and how many screens you need at the same time.
-
Install the player app
We send the exact app name and the download steps for your device. Nothing else needs installing and no settings on your router change.
-
Sign in and test it
Enter the details we send, then open a few channels you care about. We stay on the chat so anything that needs adjusting is fixed there and then.
Why does buffering happen, and what do we do about it?
Most freezing on an Irish connection is not the stream. It is peak-hour congestion between 7pm and 11pm, or a router handing out slow DNS. Changing the DNS your router uses and lowering the buffer in the player app clears it in the large majority of cases, and support walks that through with you rather than sending a copied reply.
We know the Irish networks
Eir and Vodafone fibre, cable broadband and rural fixed wireless each behave differently in the evening. Support asks which one you are on first, because the fix is not the same for all of them.
The terms are on the page, not hidden
One payment for a fixed term, no card stored, no renewal that catches you out. If a plan is not right, the refund terms say plainly what applies and what does not.
Common questions before you buy
The five questions below cover what people ask most before ordering: contracts, broadband speed, watching on two televisions, activation time and privacy. Longer answers and the full troubleshooting guide sit on the support page.
Do I need a contract or a direct debit?
No. Each plan is paid once for a fixed term and stops on its own. No card details are stored and there is nothing to cancel later.
What broadband speed do I need?
About 15 Mbps carries HD without trouble and 25 Mbps carries 4K. Most Irish fibre and cable connections are well past both. If you are on rural fixed wireless, tell us before the trial and we will set the player up for it.
Can I watch on two televisions at once?
Yes, on a two-device plan. Both screens can run different channels at the same time. A one-device plan allows one stream at a time, though you can move it between devices.
How long does activation take?
Usually a few minutes. Once payment clears we send the login details straight back on WhatsApp and stay with you until a channel is playing.
Is my connection private?
Plans from six months upward include built-in VPN protection on the stream. Shorter plans work over your normal connection.
Try it for 24 hours, then decide
The trial carries the full channel list on one device. Nothing is charged and no card details are taken to start it.
