Set up in about ten minutes
Pick your device below and follow the steps. Nothing is posted to you, nothing changes on your router, and we stay on WhatsApp while you do it in case a screen does not look the way it should.
How does IPTV setup actually work?
Every device follows the same four steps: install a player app, open it, enter the login details we send, and wait for the channel list to load. The only part that differs is how the app gets onto your device, which is why there is a separate guide per device below.
-
Get your login details
Message us on WhatsApp with the device you are using. We reply with the player app name for that device and your login details.
-
Install the player app
On phones, tablets, Android boxes and smart TVs this is a normal app store install. On Fire TV it takes one extra step, which the Fire TV guide covers.
-
Sign in
Open the app and enter the details exactly as we sent them. They are case sensitive, and a mistyped character is the most common reason a first sign-in fails.
-
Let the list load, then test
The channel list and the guide take a minute or two to fill on first launch. Open a few channels you actually watch before you close the chat with us.
Do the setup at the time of day you normally watch, not at three in the afternoon. An Irish connection behaves differently at 9pm, and testing then tells you something useful.
Which setup guide do I need?
Fire TV and smart TVs have their own step-by-step guides because their install routes are different from everything else. Android boxes, phones and tablets are a straight app store install and are covered in full below — they need about four minutes.
Fire TV Stick and Fire TV
Fire TV does not carry the player in its own store, so the app is installed manually. It sounds worse than it is — the guide walks each screen with pictures.

Both makes carry a player in their own app store. The guide covers where to find it on each, and what to do if your set is older than 2019.

What do I need before I set it up?
Three things: a device from the list above, broadband of about 15 Mbps or more, and ten free minutes. You do not need a new router, an aerial, an engineer, or any change to your existing broadband package.
| Needed | Why |
|---|---|
| A device from the list | Fire TV, Android box, LG or Samsung smart TV from 2019, phone, tablet or laptop |
| About 15 Mbps | Carries full HD comfortably. 25 Mbps and up for 4K. Most Irish fibre is well past both |
| Ten free minutes | Four to eight for the install, the rest for testing channels while we are on the chat |
| How we send your details and how we help if a screen looks wrong | |
| Not needed: new router, aerial or dish, satellite box, engineer visit, changes to your broadband contract, or a credit card to start the trial | |
What usually goes wrong on the first try?
Nearly all first-time problems come down to four things: a mistyped login, the app not being allowed to install, the channel list still loading, or evening congestion on the connection. The table below is what we work through on the chat, in order.
| What you see | Usual cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Login rejected | A mistyped character, or capitals where there should be none | Retype it slowly. Details are case sensitive. Ask us to resend if unsure |
| App will not install | Fire TV blocks installs from outside its store until you allow it | Turn on the developer setting first — the Fire TV guide shows where |
| Channel list is empty | The list and guide are still downloading on first launch | Give it two minutes, then close and reopen the app |
| Guide is blank but channels play | EPG data loads after the channel list, not with it | Leave the app open for five minutes, then reopen |
| Freezing between 7pm and 11pm | Peak-hour congestion, or slow DNS from the router | Change the router DNS and lower the buffer in the player |
| Fine on the phone, poor on the TV | The TV is on 2.4 GHz wifi or far from the router | Move it to the 5 GHz band, or use an ethernet cable |
| Picture but no sound | Audio passthrough set to a format the TV cannot decode | Switch the player audio output to stereo or PCM |
Setup questions people ask
The five answers below cover what comes up before and during setup: whether you need to be technical, moving the service to another device, using it away from home, whether the router needs touching, and what happens if you get stuck.
Do I need to be technical to set this up?
No. On most devices it is an app store install and a username and password. Fire TV has one extra step, and we stay on WhatsApp through it if you would rather not do it alone.
Can I move it to a different device later?
Yes. Install the player on the new device and sign in with the same details. On a one-device plan only one stream can play at a time, but which device that is can change whenever you like.
Will it work away from home?
Yes, on any broadband or mobile connection with enough speed. Nothing is tied to your home router, so a holiday home or a phone on mobile data both work.
Do I have to change anything on my router?
Not to set it up. Changing the DNS your router hands out helps if you get evening freezing, but that is a fix for later, not a step you need first.
What if I get stuck halfway through?
Send us a photo of the screen on WhatsApp. Nine times out of ten we recognise it straight away and tell you the next button to press.
